Picking the best IPTV for MotoGP UK viewers is time-sensitive this autumn: the last five rounds start at Phillip Island on 22 to 25 October, the weekend the UK clocks go back, and the championship closes in Valencia on 29 November. That means early starts for Australia, Malaysia and Qatar before two European races. We compared three UK IPTV services on what a race weekend really asks for: practice, Sprint and race coverage, catch up, an accurate guide, device support and cost. All plans were checked on 18 October 2026.

Quick answer: QueenIPTV comes first for UK MotoGP fans. A single connection is £11.99 a month or £49.99 a year, its channel list shows 1,765 UK channels (the provider's own figure), and the trial needs no card and runs 36 hours, extendable twice to roughly 4.5 days, which covers a whole race weekend. KenoaTV has the same trial with dollar billing and a big US lineup, and Televo offers a 7-day money-back guarantee rather than a trial.

Editorial disclosure

This comparison was prepared with input from QueenIPTV, which sells IPTV subscriptions, and we may have a commercial relationship with services listed here. See our affiliate disclosure and methodology. Prices and features were checked on each provider's official website on 18 October 2026. Channel and VOD counts are the providers' own claims, and plans change, so confirm current terms before you subscribe.

How to watch MotoGP in the UK in 2026

MotoGP's UK broadcasting is simple on paper and messier in practice, because the streaming platform changed this spring.

  • TNT Sports is the exclusive live broadcaster. Silverstone's 2026 viewing guide says TNT Sports shows every session from Moto3, Moto2 and the premier MotoGP class, with Suzi Perry's presenting team. TNT secured a multi-year agreement with Dorna in November 2024, according to Visordown.
  • TNT now streams through HBO Max. HBO Max launched in the UK on 26 March 2026 and replaced discovery+ as TNT's streaming home; existing discovery+ customers sign in with the same login. Reports at launch listed the sports plan at £30.99 a month, or £25.99 a month on a 12-month saver plan.
  • Sky, Virgin Media and EE sell it as an add-on to their TV packages, next to Sky Sports.
  • Quest shows MotoGP free. Every Tissot Sprint airs on a short delay, and a highlights show runs on the Monday after each race weekend.
  • MotoGP VideoPass is the official streaming platform, with every session live, onboard cameras and an archive back to 1996. Silverstone's guide lists €199.99 for the 2026 season, or €29.99 a month.

The licensed route costs around £31 a month on top of whatever else you watch. Sports fans who compare IPTV providers are usually after something different: MotoGP next to the Premier League, Champions League, cricket, rugby and the rest of their UK TV in one app and one bill.

The 2026 run-in: every remaining Grand Prix

The official MotoGP calendar, read on 18 October 2026, lists five rounds left:

The 2026 run-in: every remaining Grand Prix
RoundDatesWhat it means for UK viewers
Australia (Phillip Island)22–25 OctoberOvernight and early-morning sessions; UK clocks go back on Sunday 25 October
Malaysia (Sepang)30 October – 1 NovemberMorning sessions
Qatar (Lusail)6–8 NovemberRescheduled from the spring; evening race in Qatar, afternoon in the UK
Portugal (Portimão)20–22 NovemberEuropean daytime
Valencia27–29 NovemberSeason finale, European daytime

Visordown reported that the Qatar round was moved from the spring to 6 to 8 November because of the war in the Middle East. Silverstone's guide also notes that 2026 is the last season for the current generation of bikes before the 2027 engine regulation changes, which is one more reason fans want every session, not only the race.

What is IPTV?

IPTV (internet protocol television) delivers live TV, films and series over your broadband connection instead of an aerial or satellite dish. After you subscribe, the provider emails login details: an M3U playlist link or Xtream Codes. You enter them in an IPTV player such as IPTV Smarters Pro, TiviMate or IBO Player on an Amazon Firestick, Android TV boxes, smart TVs, Apple TV, MAG boxes, Android phones or a Windows laptop.

HBO Max, Sky Go and BBC iPlayer are licensed streaming services that also deliver TV over the internet. Independent IPTV providers are a separate market, so check how a provider licenses what it streams before you pay.

What a MotoGP fan needs from an IPTV subscription

  • The whole weekend. Free practice, qualifying, the Saturday Sprint and the Sunday race, plus Moto2 and Moto3. Check in the trial that the EPG lists every session, not only Sunday.
  • Catch up for flyaway rounds. With Australia and Malaysia in the small hours, a 7-day archive with restart matters more than another thousand channels.
  • Smooth motion. Fast bikes judder on a low frame-rate feed, so look for 50fps channels in HD or 4K.
  • Stable streams at peak hours. Every user watches the same race at the same time. UK IPTV sellers advertise "anti freeze" servers, zero buffering technology and 99.9% uptime; treat those as claims and test a live race yourself. Good streams use adaptive bitrate, dropping from 4K to HD instead of freezing.
  • Multiple devices. Live timing on a laptop and the race on the TV means two connections.
  • International sports coverage. Some fans like Spanish or French commentary or follow WorldSBK and BSB, which TNT Sports also covers in 2026. Check those channels during the trial.

What a British IPTV subscription includes

Most British IPTV services sell the same building blocks, so compare them line by line:

  • Live channels: UK entertainment, news and live sports channels, often with international channels from Europe and North America.
  • VOD: a library of films and series, on demand content you can start at any time. VOD counts are always the provider's own claims.
  • Quality tiers: HD as standard and 4K on premium plans or selected channels. Premium quality on paper means little until you see HD and 4K channels on your own TV.
  • Connections: most IPTV services allow multiple devices at once on a higher plan, which suits UK households with more than one TV.
  • Devices: smart TVs, Fire TV and Amazon Firestick, Android TV boxes, MAG boxes, Android phones, iPhones, Windows and Mac, and many services also play in a web browser.
  • Activation: most providers promise instant activation, sending login details by email within minutes.

Be wary of lifetime deals. Some UK sellers advertise them, but no independent provider can guarantee full access for life.

How we chose the best IPTV service for MotoGP

We compared each IPTV provider on what we could check on its own website today:

  1. Price and plan lengths for a UK IPTV subscription, read on 18 October 2026.
  2. Trial or refund terms, so you can test a race weekend before committing.
  3. UK channel coverage and international channels for motorsport.
  4. Device compatibility: Firestick UK, Android, smart TVs, Apple TV and MAG boxes.
  5. How clearly the terms are stated, including whether a credit card is required for the trial.

We did not award star ratings, run speed tests or copy uptime percentages from sales pages.

1. QueenIPTV: best IPTV for MotoGP in the UK

QueenIPTV is our first pick because it combines pound pricing, the largest UK category of the three and a trial long enough to cover a whole race weekend.

QueenIPTV prices (one connection, checked 18 October 2026)

12 months£49.99£4.17
24 months£79.99£3.33

Plans are billed once, with up to five connections at a higher price on the QueenIPTV pricing page.

Key features

  • Channel categories: the channel list shows United Kingdom 1,765, USA 7,280 and Canada 1,541 listed channels (provider's counts).
  • Free trial: 36 hours with no payment details, no credit card required, extendable twice (36 hours each) to about 4.5 days. Request it on the free trial page.
  • Live TV, films and series in HD, with 4K where available.
  • Setup guides for Firestick, Android TV, smart TVs and phones on the installation page.

Best for

UK users who want MotoGP, live football and everyday British TV in one guide, and who want to test it from Friday practice to the chequered flag before paying.

Things to consider

  • Refunds are capped at 50% and depend on how much of the plan you have used, with at least 7 days left, so use the trial first.
  • Confirm the motorsport channels and the sessions you want during the trial.
  • QueenIPTV does not replace the licence that comes with the official broadcaster. Read the legal section below.

2. KenoaTV: best for US motorsport and international content

KenoaTV is the dollar-priced sister service, built for households that want American and Canadian channels alongside UK TV.

Key features

  • The same 36-hour trial, extendable twice, with no card.
  • Up to five connections per plan.

Best for

Fans who follow MotoGP plus American series such as NASCAR or IndyCar. Its own Formula 1 IPTV guide for US viewers shows how it covers motorsport across the Atlantic.

Things to consider

  • Billing in US dollars means your card may add a foreign transaction fee.
  • Its UK category (1,365) is smaller than QueenIPTV's (1,765).

3. Televo: the 7-day money-back option

Televo is a UK-facing independent IPTV provider. We read its prices and terms on its homepage today.

  • Two tiers: Standard lists 25,000+ live channels and 140,000+ films and series in Full HD; Premium lists 57,000+ and 238,000+ in 4K (its own claims), at a higher price.
  • 7-day money-back guarantee, no automatic renewal, instant activation and up to five connections.

Things to consider

  • We found no free trial, so testing a race weekend means paying first and relying on the guarantee.
  • We could not verify its channel counts or the uptime claims on its site.

IPTV vs the official broadcaster for live sports

For a fan who only watches bikes, TNT through HBO Max is the licensed and complete option, and Quest's free Sprints and Monday highlights are good value for casual viewers. VideoPass adds onboard cameras and the full archive.

British IPTV services appeal for a different reason. UK households that also want Sky Sports Premier League football, Champions League nights, European football, PPV events and background TV often end up stacking several streaming services. One UK IPTV guide holding all of that is the main draw in the UK market, but it does not come with the rights that broadcasters such as Sky or the BBC pay for. Our Premier League IPTV guide and F1 IPTV guide compare those other sports.

MotoGP across the UK and Europe

  • UK: TNT and Quest cover the whole country, and the British round ran at Silverstone on 7 to 9 August this year.
  • Europe: rights are sold country by country, so UK fans heading to Portimão or Valencia will find a different broadcaster on hotel TV. HBO Max subscriptions are sold for the UK and Ireland. British expats in Spain and Portugal can read our UK expats in Europe guide.

Buying guide: choosing a MotoGP IPTV subscription

  1. Start the trial on a race weekend, ideally Australia or Malaysia, and test practice, the Sprint and the race on the device you will use.
  2. Check catch up on the motorsport channels, not only general entertainment.
  3. Count your screens for live timing, tablets and the TV.
  4. Compare cost per month. QueenIPTV's 12-month plan is £4.17 a month against £11.99 monthly.
  5. Price the licensed option. The TNT plan is about £31 a month, or £25.99 on a 12-month saver plan.

How to set up IPTV Smarters on a Firestick UK or smart TV

  1. Request the free trial or buy a plan, and wait for the login email.
  2. Install IPTV Smarters, TiviMate or another IPTV player on your Amazon Firestick, Android TV box, smart TV or Apple TV.
  3. Enter the M3U link or Xtream Codes login details.
  4. Load the EPG and check that it switches from BST to GMT on 25 October.
  5. Add the motorsport channels to favourites and open the stream ten minutes before lights out.

Full guides are on the installation page, and our Firestick UK IPTV guide covers that device in detail.

How to stop buffering on race day

  • Use Ethernet for the TV or streaming box whenever you can.
  • Aim for about 25 Mbps for HD and 50 Mbps for 4K on your broadband connection, more for several screens. Our 4K IPTV guide explains the trade-offs.
  • Drop to 1080p picture quality if a 4K stream stutters.
  • Switch server or player if a channel freezes at peak times.

IPTV as a technology is legal: the BBC, Sky, Virgin Media and HBO Max all use it. Legality depends on the licence. Selling or streaming copyrighted channels without the rights is a criminal offence in the UK, rights holders pursue unlicensed services, and people who run them have been jailed. Watching through an unlicensed service can also break the law. Independent IPTV services often operate outside official licensing frameworks and can have stability issues or disappear without notice, while licensed options such as TNT on HBO Max or VideoPass are built to stay reliable during big events. Use a service whose licensing you can check.

You also need a TV Licence to watch or record live TV on any channel or service, including a live MotoGP race on any app or device, or to use BBC iPlayer. The licence costs £180 a year from 1 April 2026.

Frequently asked questions

How can I watch MotoGP in the UK?

TNT Sports shows every session live, through HBO Max or as an add-on with Sky, Virgin Media or EE. Quest shows the Sprints on a short delay and Monday highlights for free.

Is MotoGP on free to air TV, and how can I watch it for free?

Yes, partly. Quest airs every Tissot Sprint on a short delay and a highlights show after each race weekend. Live races are on TNT.

Is MotoGP on Amazon Prime?

No. In the UK, MotoGP's live rights belong to TNT, which streams through HBO Max rather than Prime Video.

Where can I stream MotoGP live?

HBO Max with the sports plan, or MotoGP VideoPass, which Silverstone lists at €199.99 for the season or €29.99 a month.

Which IPTV provider is best for sports in the UK?

For MotoGP plus other UK sport, QueenIPTV is our pick: £11.99 a month, 1,765 UK listed channels and a card-free trial that extends to about 4.5 days.

Yes, when the service is licensed. Watching or selling copyrighted channels without a licence can break the law.

Licensed services include BBC iPlayer, Sky, Virgin Media, HBO Max and EE TV. Check any independent provider's licensing before you pay.

How much does an IPTV subscription cost in the UK?

Among the three here, from £11.99 a month (QueenIPTV) to £12.99 (Televo), or £49.99 for 12 months.

What is the penalty for using IPTV?

Penalties target unlicensed services above all: running one can lead to prison. Viewers of unlicensed streams can also face legal risk, and third-party services may not guarantee stable access.

Final verdict

For UK fans who want MotoGP alongside the rest of their TV in one guide, QueenIPTV is the strongest of the three: £11.99 for a month, £4.17 a month on the yearly plan, 1,765 listed UK channels and a no-card trial that lasts a full race weekend. If bikes are all you watch, TNT on HBO Max is the licensed home of every session. Begin the trial before the Phillip Island weekend on 22 October, and make sure your TV Licence is current.
